Mornin' all... well, today's the day. I'm hoping I can be here when the big brown truck arrives as it's going to require a signature and my lazy@#! roommate probably won't get out of bed to answer the door...

Anyhow, I've very excitied about the 'ol Yamaha coming home to roost. I just found a funny picture of me playing it back in college at some halloween party... man, oh, man... what was in that punch. :)

I'll get a video done up and posted this afternoon once she arrives, Cheers.

Well, she arrived this afternoon and while it truly does seem crazy, I think there's a good chance that it really is my old guitar! There's something very familiar with every little imperfection on it, and there are so few that they're easy to differentiate. Even the case has a little tolex lifting by the handle that I seem to remember. While I was playing it I glanced at the back of the headstock and read the serial number and had a strange sense of deja vu. There are also polish marks between the pickups that rung a bell. Regardless, it plays like butter and sounds wonderful... I got chills playing a few old tunes as it has a very unique tone.

I didn't get any photos or a video together yet but maybe later this week... 'til then, I'm just going to spend a few days getting reacquainted with my old friend. 8)

Wow if this is the same guitar that you lost so many years ago, this would be a great plot in a Lifetime movie.

The trailer would sound somthing like this:
"He thought that he lost her forever, but then she came back into his life." *cue mello-dramatic music*

I would watch it.
