I wash mine fairly frequently along with any coinage that may be in my pockets at the time. A clean pick is a happy pick. :)

Unless they are in my pockets at laundry time, then never. Does putting them in my mouth count?

 Come on !! ?? If they're in my pants , they get washed   Another thing is that if you pronounce the word ''pick'' in Norwegian , it refers to a body part that I certainly wash on a daily basis
Else : I rarely use the guitar-picks

We call it a ''plekter'' . I believe the Germans call it ''plectrum'' . We can not go around looking for a pick ,at least not tell anyone you do  - that would be like we are looking for a di**

I gave up shampooing my picks years ago. I was having way too many 'bad pick days' and the conditioner is just sooooo expensive.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.
