hi , i picked up an indie irk500 guitar in mapleglow today for cheap  it's in as new condition , no fretwear and no marks or scratches at all 8) , plugged into the marshall set to clean and done some beatles tracks 8) then some early radiohead (which i'm well out of practice) and some rem and i loved the sounds from this thing , going to give it a head to head with my mates ric , theres not much in it to my ears 8) i'll try and get a pic up later , cheers
Alan

The front looks great! Love the look. The back of the body looks like plywood to me and not so appealing but then who's looking at the back right?

i will admit, that style of guitar is not really my thing. i'm a middle aged metal head that listens to country these days.
i have to say that is a beautiful guitar. i love being able to see the wood grain so clear. i can only imagine the differnt' tones you could coax from it. i'm a humbucker guy so it probably wouldn't suit my need for a 5 finger death punch on the dirty channel. but i'm betting the sounds on the cleaner stuff are incredible. i'm typing all this and just realizing you probably don't give a crap what i think.
i've always wanted a hollowbody but i've got all the fiddles i need. for now. thanx alot for making me ponder another buy that i simply can't justify. or can i?
distractions.
