I just saw picks scattered about and assumed they were just poured from a cup. Anyways, I keep several picks, earplugs, truss rod adjustment tool (Norma), and a mini slide in my box.

I could say pretty awesome. Drummer's coming over today because no one else is going to be home. How bout yourself?

I keep bags of picks in my South Park back-pack front pouch when their new, off to the side pouch when they're done, in the trash when they're really done... ...ear plugs to the left of me, truss rod tool to the further left of me, ...I don't know where my slide is.

Nobody's home, drummer coming over, sounds like fun to me.

I'll be doing a bunch. I'm finishing up fine tuning the Callaham on my Hwy 1, ...practicing w/ the Hwy 1 and a couple o' Brawley's, and...I'm ummm...finishing up a letter to President Obama! I'll betcha a buck he reads this one!

It was awesome, but it was with the group where we fight a lot. I managed to squeeze out a Black Flag cover, though.

What's the letter about? That has to be more interesting than anything I've done today :P

Black Flag, cool. I just checked out Rise Above!

The letter is about California medical marijuana, profiteering, and toxins. Profiteers in California are distributing cannabis tainted with toxins for profit in clear violation of the federal, state, and locals laws without any relief in sight from the city and state governments -- corruption, incompetence. I got together with some scientists and had cannabis tested from 3 local facilities and there was a 100% contaminate failure rate, mislabeling, fraud, etc. -- 3 bags obtained from 3 random "collectives" contained life threatening toxins. TKO, gonna get the profiteers thrown out o' town, hold President Obama to his word that if any facility is violation of the law, they are done. So done, we've paved the way for safe and affordable cannabis and we are asking for an emergency order to make it a crime with stiff penalties to distribute contaminated cannabis. Cannabis is the safest, most therapeutic substance known to man as per a 1988 DEA ruling as well the historical and recent studies, no sense skewing the results of this social experiment with toxins.

We did Depression. The solo is mind blowing.

Ahh, they were chemicals that most dealers lace with in order to make it addictive, or amplify the high, correct? Don't a lot of small time dealers use rat poison o.O

Heavy duty lyrics!

...toxic growth stimulants, pesticides, and mold and mildew in bud, bacteria and the above in edibles too, contaminants that will complicate the health of the seriously ill and youth who are duped into buying toxins they thinking they are getting medicinal quality cannabis.

And no, I haven't come across laced cannabis at the collectives, just contaminated tumbled out beasters and poorly handled edibles that in no way shape or form equate medicinal cannabis. But, all that's about to come to an abrupt end paving the way for medicinal quality cannabis -- "the safest, most therapeutic substance known to man."

It's by design, pharmaceutical companies want cannabis out of the hands of the people, so the medical marijuana movement was sabotaged by those factions and other factions and politicians who benefit from the hemp prohibition.

It all hinges on seeds, you can't patent a seed, so you can't keep cannabis all to yourself for profit like you can with patented pharmaceuticals and patented fuels and patented textiles.

In a hemp economy, everybody is king and this irks ruthless corporations.

FYI, it's a fact, there's only a brief psychological addiction when cannabis treatments are withdrawn. And, studies have shown that those who consume cannabis correctly live longer, healthier lives -- can't make much money off of healthcare if people are healthy, ya know wut I'm sayin'???

Yup. And I pleaded with the community at length to fix the issues but they refused -- the corruption is profound.

Not how I expected things to turn out. Did you recognize a smell or taste associated with the bad stuff?

Long story, way off topic. You'll probably hear or read about this in the news!

Let's get back to picks.

I'm not snubbin' you, just...that's not the purpose of this thread!

Letter done! Sorry for the interruption with all that folks. If you want, we can delete those particular posts if you all would like us to since they are way off topic!

Anyways, new picks arrived!!!

I got the yellow Dunlop Tortex .73 mm sharp and black .50mm regulars, the .50mm's are very floppy as compared to the rest.

I'm having the most success now with the .88mm green -- the thickest thin pick -- shred o' licious yet great for rhythm and arpeggiating, arpegioing sounded weak and speed picking kind of fell apart with the yellow .73 regulars. I got a whole bag of those green meanies too, yay-yah!

Ever since I put the Callaham bridge on my strat, I haven't used any other guitar. It's got Fender Super Bullet 8-38's on it and the Dunlop Tortex .88mm greens work best.

I pulled out a Brawley 124 FR tonight and am going to fiddle around with the it using the light picks starting @ the .50 mm's until I hit the sweet spot. That guitar has GHS 8.5-40's on it.
