i'm not really much of a golf fan. great sport. i started watching yesterday after work and this is good stuff. today, i've got a stomach virus and a severely strained muscle in my chest. i've opted golf over the NFL and NASCAR. this is really the first ryder cup i've watched alot of. the competition is amazing.

Golf would be more interesting if the competitors were allowed to tackle each other when they swing or the golf carts occasionally crashed and burned.

OH MY GOD THAT WAS UNREAL.

Sorry to any fans in the US but that was up there with one of the best comebacks I have ever seen. Up their with 1999 when United scored 2 against Munich in stoppage time of the Champions League. I could not be more proud of our European team right now.

Seve this one is for you.

Topped off the greatest of summers of sports.

This tournament sums up what sport is about, zero prize money, just play for the prize of winning. That is what sport is all about.

What a day!

Apologies to our friends in the US, I've watched today in the pub and I'm slightly drunk and emotional, I still cannot believe it.

It was incredible. I think I cried. :)

Probably the only occasion that truly brings everyone in Europe together, just an amazing comeback. So proud.

The only downside was the US fans booing the European players. What's that about???? I've been watching this competition for years and never seen this reversed in Europe. What a disgrace.

snow, don't apologize. like i said, i only started watching golf when tiger came on the scene. that had alot to do with the video game also. i could really see how much each team wanted the victory. just amazing competition. hats off to the European team. well done.
i missed the booing. from the sound of the crowd i would say there were plenty of drunk folks. really rowdy. some folks just don't handle getting their $@! kicked very well. me being one of them. i keep that to myself and try to work harder. really childish i think.
congrats. have a cold one on me.

I thought the crowd were an improvement on previous years. All they really need is a wider variety of chants and we'll be getting there.

Yeah, it wasn't looking good for a while, but that was quite a comeback-apparently the best European comeback in Ryder Cup history.

Hi Snowjoe, I don't think we need to apologise. I'm pretty sure the American players wouldn't have apologised if they'd won - and I'm absolutely certain that crowd wouldn't have!

Graceful in victory or defeat: that's what sportsmanship is about.

Cheers - C

Ok fellas I take my apologies back !

But this competition shows everything that is good about sport. Playing as a team and zero prize money. They play purely for the pride of winning.

Poulter is amazing. Ryder cup specialist. He loves this competition and loves team Europe. Four points this weekend is incredible.

That wasn't the US fans booing torresfan! That's the sound the European crowd make for Luke Donald when he's on a charge and winning and playing well.

It sounds very much like booing but they do it to show support for him!

Really pleased for Olly, what a great tribute to Seve.

The greatest comeback in sporting history ever.
