Thought I needed a dedicated delay - pedal , so I chose this one. Sounds great , but I am a bit overwhelmed about all the options. I am not a ''pedal- guy'' . I like to go directly into the amp and turn up to ''break-up''-point . Though I have a couple of options from earlier . OD ,chorus , looper, tremolo and a Boss multiFX , which has been convenient live - but not optimal . Well - then I have some noodling to do this afternoon .

Congrats and good luck with it. I've seen their "toneprint enabled" pedal line in trade pubs, but have never tried or heard one. Let us know how you like it after you've put it through the paces for a few days.

Thanks , Mike ! Could not wait to tell more about it ! I am sure I still can learn to use it in even better ways than I already have . MAN ! - The Times Are A-Changin' !!! I admit having not done my research about this one - just went into the local music store to pick up some new pads to my headphones - butI was determined to try out some delays while I was there.

Well , I put the battery in and turned it on . I had a fantastic minute or two - before the battery died . Well - I had a new spare. That was the worst part - the rest was pure fun !
The first good thing , is it's true bypass. To me that is important. Next : Had to check out this TonePrint- thing . I was asked to update the units firmware . Download - hook up with USB (some trouble with Firewalls/security with the Mac before I got it working)
I knew it was possible to download so called TonePrints - was sure I had to go through USB . But , no ! I have now downloaded an app to my iPhone , and just pick a choice between different artists' presets. Then use the phone to literally BEAM into the guitars pickup , and voila, the preset is loaded and ready to play. Rather impressive to me :D
And the sound is very good - very inspiring to use !! I guess it will last for years - rugged and solid , as it is . No regrets - pure fun and pleasure

asgeirman...Hey buddy, you better think about getting a power supply, delay pedals really eat up the batteries VERY fast. Enjoy the pedal.

You are cool , linnin - remembering my old signature  Think I got to brush it up for re-use !
Arnold , mate -thanks . You are quite right about that ! Luckily I have a couple . One for my multiFX and one for my rc20XL looper. They seemed to work fine.

Talking about looping - that is also a feature for this Flashback Delay . But that is definitely not the reason I bought it - nor should it be anyone else's . This is to regard strictly as an effect , or maybe some 'try out an idea'-stuff . Not very useful.
As you can see , I am rather impressed by this box. I also found out that it has a 'tap-tempo'-function : different from other devices I have used , is that here we use the strings for tapping the tempo. Cool.
