And I guarantee I have left out at least a couple.
I bought all 3 of those Corvettes in 1990 - major mid-life crisis!

The only Corvette I have left - the '74 - eight very powerful cylinders!

Through the years - lots of mowers (2 currently), lots of chainsaws (4 currently), no motorcycles...

Hold on just one moment, let's get the rules straight. Is it how many cylinders you own at this moment, or how many you've owned in your life? Ruling please, BMW-KTM?

CRGuitarMan, you don't possess all those cars right now - do you? If so, good Lord, Sir! You have more cars than guitars - and in your case that's saying something! I seldom have use for this emoticon, but on this occasion...

Cheers - C

Mine are all current rides.

Don't even get me started on the total list which started in 1966 when I acquired my first car - 1939 Ford Deluxe - 8 Cyl. If I go there, I'm well into 250-300 cylinders, especially if you include aircraft.

I like the String Quotient much better, afterall, this is the Fender Lounge !

cheers!

Actually, it's a pretty short list:

1948 Piper J3 (Cub) - 4
1949 Cessna 140A - 4
1929 Arrow Sport A2-60 - 5
Total aircraft cyl. count - 13

There were also some other planes the NAVY let me fly for a few years, but while my name was on the side, technically, I didn't own these (or at least not more than 1/330,000,000th of any of them), and they really didn't have 'cylinders' as it were...

cheers!

Nope, I don't own all of those cars right now - did I misunderstand the idea behind this thread? These are all cars (and other things) that I have owned through the years, but since we are talking "quotient" here, I think age should also be factored in - perhaps "existing quotient" and "cumulative quotient."

Oh, what the heck, I've just gone through a LOT of STUFF in my 63 years... but only one wife, and she's still with me.

Oh, yeah, I forgot to include my '94 GMC pickup (still have it for misc hauling), so add another 8 cylinders to my "cumulative" quotient!

And here's another shot taken the same day, with no graveyard in the background. That's original paint, except for the racing stripe - that went on in 1991.

We're counting cylinders you currently own at this present time. This does not include your buddy's two old cars he's got parked on your acreage or the rental equipment you have to return tomorrow.

If I were to count ever cylinder I ever owned, hell I'd be counting for months with all the bikes and cars I've bought and sold over the years.

What an awesome idea!

Just a wild, wild guess here but that 'Vette wouldn't happen to be a 1974 L-82, now, would it?
