My nephew just told me to youtube a group call Big Wreck...very impressed really really liked a song called Albatross which is also the name of the album..cool slide on a double neck guitar! ..Generally my grown daughters laugh at me when I constantly discover someone new..that has been around for 10 years lol..

Mona, here is a new song from Cosmic Fury, Matt Mercado's new project. My drummer Frankie is playing on this track:

Frenemy

My friend from years ago is in a national touring band called Lovesick Radio. I'm not into power pop ballads, but Mtv's On The Rise sure was.

They are not new to the scene, but " Grace Potter and The Nocturnals " are the most recent for me, plus since they are from Vermont it's a plus.
I'm finding that I do not have time at the moment to search for new music, let alone go out to a club and check out the music scene....

Not that new, but I've been starting to get really into John Butler.

I've also been listening to a whole load of Black Keys since I saw them supporting Foo Fighters last month.

I'll be the contrarian here, this band will be new to most on this Forum...( that is if you were born after 1980's

But to those of us who heard these guy's back then, this is what ( The Cat Dragged In ) a band should sound and perform like......Gritty and in your face.....Forget all the ridiculous peripheral stomp boxes that every band I've seen lately uses....Does any one actually know how to play without the photoshop... Just plugged straight into the amp... :?:

These guy's did.....
Here is also a quiz....where and with whom did this bands members go on to play with....?

'Live at Daryls' House' was also where I found out about her too!
