I'd have to say that my favourite Fender players are Stevie Ray Vaughan, Eric Johnson,Yngwie Malmsteen, Jimi Hendrix and Jeff Beck, but my favourite guitarists are Randy Rhoads, Slash, Zakk Wylde, Alexi Laiho and Dave Mustaine.

I too liked Stevie Ray Vaughan. You always hear about people remembering where they were when something big happened (John Kennedy assassination, etc) Well....maybe seem weird, but I remember where I was when I heard Stevie died. I was on the freeway , heading home from work, when I heard it on the radio.

Sad thing is......I never got to go to one of his concerts. He came to my area about once a year, and the one time I wanted to go....I was short of money that month.....so I passed. I thought, "well...I'll just catch him next year". Right after that.....he died.
