I ran across the word "Djent" while reading through some forums and decided to see what it was all about on youtube. at first I was like wtf? but after a while I came across a band called "Periphery" and I kinda like them  the Timing structure of this genera is crazy! Its very interesting....

most of you are going to dismiss it all together simply because of the vocals  but the music itself is composed in a very interesting way. I definitely hear jazz fusion influences.

so far i really dig this tune, its very (EMO) but the core music is really nice.

I really don't want this to turn into another debate over how bad modern music is....
I am just bringing up a style that some might find interesting.

If anyone knows more "Djent" bands I am open to suggestions

I'm not a massive fan, but I really like where the name came from.

I was pretty surprised
