I just got mine a few weeks ago and I'm still grinning :D . The first 10 or so presets are fine imho, with the Johnny Marr presets at the top of my list. Headphones are still a must, condo life being what it is, but no problem as the output to the headphones is stereo.
While I haven't gotten into the software just yet, modding the exsiting pre-sets is easy using the select dial and buttons below the LCD screen. The tuner is easy to use and very accurate, just another small plus.

Enjoy your new amp,
John.E

"It's not a tube amp"

LOL!! True, it's not a tube amp. But it's a fantastic sounding combo all the same. Probably one of the better sounding amps of it's kind (aka: Amp Modeling).

I've had mine since June, sounds excellent. My brother inlaw had just picked up an acoustic combo and was kicking himself he didn't check in to these, had he done so, he'd have bought this instead.

For the money, and what it does, it's hard to beat it. It works quite seamlessly with Fuse, and your PCs USB port, and you will really dig the user interface and the ease of editing presets and making your own amp settings. and you will use Fuse to keep the firmware updates current. So plan ahead to install Fuse and get the amp and your pc talking to each other.

IMO This IS the combo that you can take to a jam, or a small gig, and not have to also drag a pedal board, it's all in the amp. 100 watts ought to handle most situations I would be in. The II @40 watts probably wouldn't go where this one can. (I'm not sure if I will eventually upgrade the speaker or not..)

Do yourself a favor, and also include the 4 button Footswitch cuz you're only going to buy it later. It really opens up the interactive control features of the amp while playing. without it, you're going to be going back to the amp constantly to change effects, and select amp presets. plus it integrates with the amps on board tuner. -- brilliant!

regarding reliability, I haven't had this long enough to say anything about that, I can tell you some of the access plugs and jacks look pretty low quality, so I don't think this amp would stand up to heavy road abuse, and you may want to buy a cover to help protect it if you're gonna be moving it around a lot.

The basic '65 Princeton Reverb preset does an incredible job of modelling my '68 PR, except that it is much louder. That's the only amp emulator I can compare first hand. Same amount of hiss at the same volume levels, everything. It's nice in that I can turn on the Mustang in the summer when it's hot out and it's not like I'm running a space heater in the room.
