Picked up a beater today just for grins. Playing it at the shop, I was very impressed with this guitar for the cost.

Pics to follow after I restring it and set it up.

For a sec there I thought you were gonna say you traded in the Godin.

I'm back. It took me awhile to set the new beater up, but I am extremely happy with it. :P

As usual with any new guitar, I had to change the strings, adjust the truss rod, adjust the bridge, intonation and check every screw after ripping that protective plastic junk off and I don't know way they put that stuff on under all the threaded fasteners.

I intentionally didn't show the brand of my new guitar, or offer what it cost just for grins.

Edit: It's an Alder body, Maple neck and Rosewood fingerboard.

Guess.

Nice......We just won't ask what brand.....Keep it Hush..Hush...

Am I imagining or does it look like there is ample space to inset a 22nd fret on that neck... :?:
That seems like a lot of space past the 21st..... :?

Not a Fender.

Sorry Fender, but I'm rocking a Deluxe Reverb. So don't ban me. :P

I feel like the shop made a mistake or I stole this guitar. It feels, plays and sounds as well as some MiA Strats that I have owned. I'm liking this guitar very much, and I am hard to please. :x

It's a Jay Turser and the OTD price was $119.
