Sure, if that's your cuppa tea.

But a video of the guitar, a once over and review.

Those are crazy prices. Maybe on a $5,000 guitar I was afraid to touch. I'm about to refret my Strat for about $15 and a few hours. You can get a wood radius block and a crowning tool pretty cheap as well if you need them ($50). Practice on a junk guitar until you learn what your doing. It's not hard, just like anything else it takes a little practice. If you're going to pick up lots of old or used guitars over the next several years it could prove to be a valuable skill.

I do actually have an old junk neck lying around. Maybe I could experiment?

Pretty cool guitar.

Check out the bigger version of my signature photo. That's me, circa 1969. I can't remember what the guitar was. Wish I still had it today. Looks very similar to yours. My strap would probably be worth a few bucks too.

And for stainless steel some guys will add about $100 to the price to replace their tools, which get eaten up by it.

I recently did my very first fret job with stainless steel fret wire. I can now say from experience that the markup for SS is absolutely justified! I'm away from home this minute but later I could post a photo of what snipping just one SS fret did to my beautiful and expensive fret-end nippers. Ouch.

Buxom, far as your neck is concerned, I'd be torn. I'd be keen to try out Wooden Wizard Guitars just to meet the famous Larry and maybe Bill as well. On the other hand, pouring all that money into a $100 guitar is a bit off beam. Maybe this is the instrument to get started trying out fretting for yourself? Cheap guitars are for learning on.

Cheers - C

Was actually thinking that. It looks very similar indeed. I actually came across a brand that has a similar looking logo last night when looking for more info on it, but I can't for the life of me remember it.

I hate to say it, but the cleans on this guitar are far better than the cleans on my Telecaster. Once I get these potted, we'll see about distortion...

Around my area, they get between $180-200. There's a lot of variables. Age and value of the instrument, binding etc. It could get way pricier.
