I wonder how many less experienced guitarists get fooled by auctions like those.

The worst thing: even if you report obvious cheatings to eBay, nothing happens!! They take no action!
I've seen really bad partsocasters go for incredible prices. I feel sorry for the buyers, who probably are very proud about finally owning their first real Fender, while it is just a cheap crapocaster with fake decal!

Same goes for Ibanez JEM 7 VWH. Lots of fakes out there!

I once communicated with a seller who was stunned when I told him, he's selling a cheap Chinese copy. He got it confirmed and was very thankful for my advice. It turned out that he wanted to sell it because he was so disappointed about this guitar which he has heard was supposed to be incredible. It sounded crappy and played crappy instead. No wonder, since it was a cheap copy with inferior quality!
He sewed the previous seller but I have no information if he succeeded at court.

I went to check a US Cherry Burst Fender Strat once. It was offered 10km away from where I lived so I went there to check it out because the picture was really bad. It turned out to be a Squier with fake logo and the seller had been fooled by "a good friend" who brought it from USA for him.

Sometimes the sellers don't know what they actually have!

Fact is: you gotta be very careful on auction platforms and you better inform yourself as good as you can before buying used guitars.
