He's always been one of my favs. He may have equals, but it's a rare guitar player whose better.

I was fortunate enough to see him at a clinic in the 80s. I think he was endorsing Peavey amps at the time or something, really cool guy.

I always dug his Open Ears columns too. He has alot of really solid advice. Thing is though, while I appreciate his playing, I've never really been a fan as such.

I've seen him live a couple times, (opened for Rush 1985, Coachhouse early 90's). He is probably one of the best guitar players in the world.
