Watching a history drama "The Man Who Predicted 9/11". I was at work that morning. I was staring at the television in horror. I did not want to believe what I was seeing but as each moment passed I could feel the world changing too. Things haven't been the same since that day. The enemy showed their determination that day. Thank the Lord for our American Service Men and Women. It is their determination that keeps our beautiful country safe from the enemy. Please do not ever forget September 11, 2001. My thoughts and prayers this day were for all of those lost in those attacks and their families and friends with a special prayer for all of those rescuers lost during all of the rescue efforts, their families and friends too.

Amen!

I was around 22 or so when 911 happened. i remember waking up that morning to my mom calling me saying, put the TV on...I was like, uhh, what channel, she said, it doesn't matter...i was like, what!?!?..she said i have to go and hung up the phone. It was like watching a movie. it was so surreal i couldn't believe my eyes.

Unfortunately i was young and i did realize just how real it all was. As i got older, 911 started to sink in more and more..To the point where when i think of 911 i can't help but to tear up. its such a great tragedy. and not to mention its just $@!&*% up. pardon my language.

We can't forget 911 EVER! i can't even express into words the anger and the remorse i feel for all the family's and service men and women of 911. We can never be too thankful. and most of all, we need to stand proud as Americans! And NEVER FORGET the tragedy that took places on that day.

Well, when I often watch the documentries on lost films of WW1, WW2 and Vietnam I get the same feelings, if not more than about 911. It is actualy scary to really think about the reality of these tragedies and about each individual life lost that before was actualy a person and now just a nothing. It is scary scary scary to know how fickle life is. We need to care more and remember it better.

I was in the Army and I remember getting a call from my mom telling me to wake up and turn on the TV. I could not believe what was going on, first thing that came to my mind was "when do we leave so we can kick some $@!". I was sad and infuriated to witness an attack of such cowardice. Target innocent civilians in the name of their god? Today 11 years later I can still remember it like it was yesterday. Never forget.

I don't know how anyone could forget what happened that day. It's burned into my mind forever. I live near several metropolitan airports. I took my son out to an open field the next morning and had him look up into the sky. I said to him something like, "do you notice there are no planes flying today. The world has changed. You may never again see a time in this town where planes don't fly". For weeks after that people were suddenly polite, courteous and very patriotic. People were putting all sorts of patriotic magnetic ribbons on their cars, flying flags off antennas and on their homes. Every day for weeks and weeks the tragedy was in the news.

That day changed a lot of peoples way of living too. In my town most of the kids walked to school every day. After 9/11 their parents started driving most of them in.

In my small town of only 2 square miles I have 2 train lines that bring people into NY city. There were ambulances waiting at the stations for injured victims on their way home. We lost 11 parents that day.

I could go on and on but you understand how I will not and can not ever forget what happened.

I was an Active Duty AF MSgt on 9/11, teaching in an inter-service school, I put the students on break went up to file the morning report and saw what had happened on the news. I then had one of the most diffifult tasks I ever carried out as a leader of military men and women. I was the ranking instructor that day and had to try and explain what had happened not only to my students, but an entire school house full of students.

I had been an instructor for a couple years by then and usually not one to be at a loss for words, but trying to tell those young Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines, was one of the few times I ever lost my professionalism and stammered as I talked in the auditorium. After explaining what had happened they all rose in unison, saluted, and then very steelie eyed marched back to their classrooms. As I entered the classroom, they all stood up and my Marine Junior Instructor said they were ready for whatever happened next and thanked me for letting them know and for my leadership, and words of comfort. I was humbled by that experience, and to this day, have no recollection of exactly what I said to them in that auditorium but I do know I was beyond anger.

Years later as I rode in a helo flying about 100 feet off the ground heading into Bagdahd for third or fourth time that month, I remembered those young faces and wondered how many were here or in Afghanistan and how many never came back home in one piece. It is for those brave soles you should have pride in. I was one of the lucky ones who was in the right place and the right time and not riding in a plane on a flight with madmen in control, or sitting in an office in the World Trade Towers, or working at the Pentagon or a Fireman or Policman trying to save lives in that madness that morning.

I will never forget that day and hope everyone remembers it with the respect it deserves.

Tony

I was in high school, in an english class learning about puritan poetry. mind numbing stuff. i was half asleep when another teacher burst in and shouted "boys and girls, we're under terrorist attack."
i started to stand up and jump out a window, but then she turned on the tv and i realized she didn't mean the school....
the rest of that day was spent going from one class to another, every class had the tv on and all we did was sit and watch. everyone talking freely, political arguments, conspiracy theories.... then we had to listen to our Government teacher talk about how it's all the fault of the "DEMONcrats" as he called them.
that awful feeling of helplessness and vulnerability will always resonate within me.
like nicebassbro said, i can't think about it too much without tearing up either....
i didn't know anyone that was in the towers, but my dad was driving a semi truck at the time and saw it in the distance, he was somewhere outside NYC at the time. craziness.
the world will never be the same.
sorry i'm rambling. just my mental diarrhea of thoughts on the subject.

A family member, a Captain in the NY Port Authority, was crushed when she went into building one to help people get out. She saved a lot of lives that morning.

I saw the destruction unfold on my computer while typing a paper for a college critical thinking course.

I'm grew up in NY.

Based on the information we've all seen, it's clear...9/11 was a false-flag terror operation meant to confuse America into tolerating election fraud, the "patriot act", agenda 21, the police state, government corruption, illegal bank bailouts, the illegal federal reserve, the complete disregard for the US Constitution and state's rights, the religious frauds, the illegal wars, and the toxic waste dump we're being thrust into to depopulate the planet.

So...9/11 means to me...there should be hearings held to hold accountable the evil humans who perpetrated 9/11 and all other false-flag operations.

Nobody I know is asleep anymore. Everybody's woke up.

And, this is not what I "believe" or "think". I'm simply taking an objective look at the science behind what we saw. I'm saying...correct me if I am wrong, but the evidence presented by scientists and credible individuals prove that only sociopaths employed by the US government could have perpetrated the 9/11 false-flag terror operation.

I'm not from USA and even I know the real truth. After a couple of times analysing the footage a couple of years ago, I had a feeling the story that was spoonfed to the world wasn't excatly true. I could justify these things with the help of science and interviews with bush, but I've gotta feeling I'm already gonna be hated by most of this forums users after I post this.
After you realise this, you feel even worse for the innocent people that passed that day.

Yesterday I refrained from commenting at the numerous opportunities there were both here and on facebook about my memories and perceptions of that terrible day because those thoughts could have been taken the wrong way by people I did not wish to insult or anger. Even now I am still hesitant to speak but there are SOME things I feel the need to express.

As a Cannuck sitting on the sidelines, I too percieved something was amiss with the story we were fed but also like you, it did not detract from my shock and sorrow.

I'd like to say, "Correct me if I'm wrong," but I know I'm not wrong so there's no point. This tragic event happened under the Dubya Republican administration while he was looking at pictures in a children's book upside down. Your teacher should have been publicly flogged for trying to plant such a monstrous lie into the minds of the young. There is nothing so vulgar as political bigotry when it takes advantage of a deeply disturbing event such a 9/11 for the sole purpose of dishonestly swaying the minds of students. The more I think about this the angrier I become. What a total monster your teacher was to choose that terribly emotional time to exploit the minds of children to achieve some stupid political agenda. God!! I'm vibrating just thinking about it.

My condolences for the tragic loss of a family member. That they perished while in service to the country and while helping other citizens is even more tragic.
Brother, if your feelings are that strong against Americans, you should leave the USA for your own mental health. All of the Americans that I know, know what happened that day and love this country more because of how America responded to the act of war. Leave now, don't look back and you will be better for it.

First, USA should grieve at a tragic unneccessary loss of inocent lives for some sick agenda. Then Citizens should look at the facts and punnish those who were responsible (even if it is their own government), which by the way I believe it was, as being an outsider makes one look at the facts less emotionally. USA needs a new CHAMPION to wright the wrongs and oust those who decieved it's own citizens. The current politicians are all conspiring together. My country has the same BULL@#$%.

Wow, asking someone to leave their country for whatever reasons over a forum is a bit barbaric. Thats for him to think about, and not someone over the internet he hasn't even met before. He didn't even bring up the topic of leaving america. If he did, ok, your post would've been acceptable, but telling someone to leave their own country for stating their views is very immature and sensless.

BMW, rest assured I was a very outspoken left-wing kid with long hair and a real problem with idiot authority, I made it very clear to that teacher every chance I got that he was a complete moron. I always thought it was ridiculous that such a staunch republican could be teaching a Gov't class. but, you know, that's on par with everything else about growing up in that small, religiously oppressed hick town.
