My poor hubby fell 11 feet off a ladder broke his right leg in 3 places..had surgery yesterday..half an hour before his surgery I recieved a call my Father passed away..words can not describe how just a half an hour with a guitar soothes the soul. Sorry I had to post such a sad thread but you guys are the only ones who would understand what I mean!

My condolences on your father, and and best wishes for your husband.

I get the guitar thing.

One of my grandparents died before I started playing, but the others lasted longer.

Mourning the last two was assisted by some guitar playing.

I get it...

My condolences!!

I'm very, very sorry to read this!
My best wishes and speedy recovery for your hubby!

Yes, a round of playing guitar can be a healing plaster on your soul!
It also helps coping with difficult situations because you can make your guitar scream all your feelings out into the world for you.

It clears your mind!

All the best again to both of you!
I wish you lots of strength to cope with your loss!

I'm sorry! :(

That goes for Tyronne as well! My Condolences!

Hard to know the right things to say at a time like this,
but I think all that has been said would come from my
heart too.
Prayers and good mojo your way.

Mona, "Love means not ever having to say you're sorry."
As a member of the Fender Lounge Forum, here, you are loved always. My sincerest condolences for the loss of your Father. Chicago mojo on the way for your Hubby's speedy recovery, Ouch! It hurts just thinking about a break and 3, just Ouch!
Thankyou for sharing, some of us older Bro's have older Bros health issues and it is nice to have a friendly site where understanding is a predominant attribute and talking to each other is what we do, lol.

tyronne, my sincerest condolences for the loss of your Father as well. You and your family and friends of your Dad's, Mona's too, are in my thoughts and prayers.
