Sorry I had to post such a sad thread but you guys are the only ones who would understand what I mean!

My condolences on your fathers passing and a quick recovery to your hubby. What a strange day this must have been to you. Take comfort in music as much as you can, and you did the right thing not to keep it inside.
Claude.

Sorry to hear of this, ma'am.

Best wishes to hubby for a speedy and complete recovery, and condolences on the loss of your Dad.

I think most of us can relate to these tragic events.

All the best
Arjay

Oh, Mona. That is so sad to hear.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

My condolences to you and your family on the passing of your Father, Mona. Believing that your husband will mend quickly and suffer no limitations.

As far as the guitar being a cure for all, i couldn't agree more. I play every day, especially before going to work, it's a calming influence.

that is a sad situation, you have my deepest sympathy.

But situations like these fueled the birth of the blues and there is no better companion for the blues than your guitar. its like crying with your fingers and much more therapeutic.

Anyone who says that laughter is the best medicine clearly isn't a guitar player.

I'm sorry about your father and I'm sure your husband will make a full recovery.

+1 and well said. My condolences on you father's passing, I hope he was not in pain.
Although breaking a leg in 3 places is going to require some serious healing, a fall from that height could have done a lot more damage. MoJo being sent to you and yours.
