I shouldn't have, but it was at such a steal. I got it for a total of $110. It's a vintage Norma, from the mid 60s, made in Japan under Teisco. More pictures and review when it gets here. Here's one from the auction as a preview.

Missing a few screws, but I can replace those.

Thats pretty sweet. I wanted to by a 60's Silvertone for $40 but the wife was adament about no more guitars. Then a woman I work with gave me a 60's Kay SG style guitar. Super high action. Needed bigtime truss rod adjustments. I sold it for $50 and put the money towards a Squier Tele Custom II.

Your wife should give you a little wiggle room. It's only $40. Was it a yardsale special or something?

I saw this guy in Canada who makes guitar videos do one on a Kay SG.

2 different vids, but I love what he does. I'm a regular viewer.

It was on Kijiji. I still managed to get the Squier and then a year later a Squier J Mascis Jazzmaster. Go figure, both of those guitars are were over $250 each.

Wish I still had my 45 year old Teisco Del Ray. 3 pup sunburst. Didn't sound that great but was a real looker with all that chrome. 8)

I love their wacky 4 pickup models, and even their one 5 pickup model. They usually wired in series too. It's really cool that you could turn all 5 of the pickups on the Spectrum 5 on if you wanted, though it would probably be the equivalent of a shitstorm.

Really? This one is definitely a Norma, though. It says so on the headstock.
