Here is my new pedal board. Based on the picture above, what order should these pedals be placed in the chain to to get the very best from them.

From top right to left, the pedals are:
Electro Harmonix Big Muff, Belcat Analog Chorus, TC Electronics Polytune

From bottom right to left:
Electro Harmonix Micro Pog, Electro Harmonix Memory Boy, Belcat Flanger, Ibanez TS9 Tube Screamer and Seymour Duncan Pickup booster.

The pedal outside the board is an Ernie Ball Volume pedal.

What do you think?

The only absolutely definite one is that the SD pickup booster must come first in the chain to sound best, as it relies on being first in the chain to work properly.

If that was my board, I'd probably go Pickup Booster > Volume pedal > Tuner > Tube Screamer > Big Muff > POG > Chorus Flanger > Delay.

Guitar>Tuner>Volume>Boost>Pie>Screamer>Octave>Flange>Chorus>Delay>Amp

My rule of thumb is:
Anything clean goes first.
The the drive stage.
Then the filters and time based FX.

YMMV

This can be a Religious War.

But I put the distortion stuff ahead of the time based stuff.

Another thing that needs to be considered is do you have an effects loop?

Here's one idea to chew on for a while:

Distortion and overdrives should come earliest in the chain. You always want
delay second to last in the chain, and the modulation effects (chorus) last so
they are not echoed. That is, last as far as those modulation goes. The volume
pedal should really be last to ensure that 'everything' - all effects - will get
louder or quieter.

You may want the pickup booster to be last. If you put it last, it will give everything
else a volume lift...otherwise put it right after the guitar and tuner to drive the distortion
toys.

Having the tuner right after the guitar will ensure a better signal for the tuner to be
more accurate. A chorus would drive it nuts.

There is no one size fits all in this, though. Ten different guitar slingers will
give you 10 different strategies.

I went back and proofread this, and it appears everything should go last with
the exception of all the other stuff that goes first. I don't see the problem

This is kind of the way I was going to go. The volume pedal was going to go at the end of the chain but I wasn't sure about the pickup booster. The tuner is true bypass so it shouldn't give any problems after the Guitar. I'm bringing the board to a friend this morning who owns a Guitar shop today to change out all of the cheap patch cables for Fender ones. There are three Fender ones currently in the chain so I may as well be consistent. Power supply is my next headache as it will be costly. I'm moving towards Voodoo labs rather than a DC brick now.....

Thanks to everyone for their great suggestions. :)

Here is the final layout. I've also replaced all patch cables except one with Fender ones. I will be spending a bit of money on a good power supply next month.
