My whole family can't eat McDonald's food-if you can call it that-without fail, every time we've eaten it we got what is refered to here as the backdoor trots, the quickshits, the squirts and many other names.Quite seriously though there are many of these fast food places that trigger the same response in any one or all of us.

About the only fast-food franchise type places we can eat without getting projectile dysentary are KFC and a Newfoundland owned franchise along the lines of KFC-only much much better-Mary Brown's.There was a popular U.S. owned burger chain that opened a store here about 20 years ago and I liked them and could eat their burgers without getting rectal propulsion but I can't remember their name-it wasn't White Castle but I believe that it was a person's name, anyway despite being in a very heavy traffic area it folded after being open less than a year.....pity that, because they were quite good and "assembled" your burger the way you liked it as you watched.

Somebody opened an Arby's here about 20 years ago too with much hoopla and fanfare but it went belly-up in no time from lack of customers. We have Wendy's here too and I find that alright.

Cat calls may be more like it!

I don't know about the Chinese... but when a bunch of Vietnamese families moved into our town, THAT'S when the cats started going missing... and a few dogs, too.

Always the chinese  (language issues or deliberately? )
In addition to that - I have to tell about my favorite local chinese restaurant ; I stopped eating there when I found a rat trap :? outside their door . Perhaps it was just placed there from hygienic reasons - but I did not dare to come back

Each time? As in more than once? Slow learners are we?

There used to be a chinese here called the Rankin Pong, but I couldn't find a picture and I wasn't sure it would be funny outside of Norn Iron.

Once upon a time, Jack in the Box was almost good. About 35 years ago.

Funny, Arby's doesn't bother me. But Chick fil A taste like soggy cardboard.
