I would like to find out when Fender first introduced the 65 Deluxe Reverb amp reissue. And how to date them.
Thanks for any help.

1993 is the DRRI's birthday.
Also, inside the amp's inside panels are labels with codes and numbers
Please get those, thanks

My 1994 has this number.
I will check when I get home.

Go here to see a PDF of the "Soul of Tone" flyer put out by Fender for the introduction of the various reissues.
As I mentioned above it came out in 1993.

http://support.fender.com/catalogs/us/F ... lePage.pdf

If you want specifics on YOUR amp, send the serial number to the customer relations folks at Fender here:

consumerrelations@fender.com

The serial number does not contain any date code information. That is on the QC sticker found on the amp chassis. Dating this amp has been discussed many times in the forum I provided a link to earlier and that a search will find.
