I think my favorite Monty Python movie ever is "The Life Of Brian". I like the scene where Brian has spent the night with a girl and he gets up in the morning and opens the window shutters, standing naked only to find a crowd of people waiting for him and staring up at him. His mum comes to the window and says to the crowd,

"'E's not the messiah. 'E's a very naughty boy..."

I think it must be this one , from 'the Holy Grail' - The Black Night is fighting King Arthur and loosing limb after limb - left screamin' with no arms and legs - 'Come back - I'll bite your legs off ' ! The limb loosing starts about 3 min into this clip :

For me it's the scene with the monks chanting. I don't know, maybe because I was younger or living another life. When I first saw this scene, I rolled down on the floor and almost broke a rib laughing my heart out.

Thanks for this thread. :D

My favourite scenes from the TV series are: The Confuse a Cat skit and Mrs. Zambesi Gets a New Brain, of course the Albatross and Nudge,Nudge skits are classics that just about everyone likes and that most Pythonphiles have memorized word for word,"Do you get wafers with it?"-"Of course you don't get f-----g wafers with it." My favourites from the movies would be Catholics Having Babies from The Meaning of Life-"Every Sperm is Sacred" and The Overeater also from The Meaning of Life.

Hard to decide on favorite--but I'll go wih the one I quote the most-
"Listen, strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government."

That whole constitutional peasant scene cracks me up...
