I have a 62-64 General Electric (no kidding) strat that was made mainstream around that time. My parents bought it when they were interested in learning in 64 and played with it a little while then it sat in the closet. It generally is in good condition (stiff tuning peg that needs replaced) no major dings and it has unbelivable resonance (I think it is called sustain). It is not a hollow body but you don't need to be jacked in as it plays like an acoustic. You really cannot search for General Electric Guitar on the internet as General is a uh too general of a word and Electric Guitar pretty much covers everything. It has a sunburst body, solid tail (not through body), 2 knobs with 2 flat toggle switches. Metal pick guard.

Any info on it as to rarety or value would be appreciated. I am not looking to sell, as it was my parents, just wondering what information you all may have on it.

Thanks
