I meant when i started to play the guitar 35 years ago, not the forum.
Dutch is my native language, so sometimes the finer nuances of the english
langauge escape me. As does the humor and sarcasm.

No it wouldn't imo.But whining about a post whining about a post is.

I think whining about a post that is whining about a post which is whining about a post is just as pointless and aggravating as posts and polls that new forum users make. :D

I think that Tiny KISS would win cause they got a 350lb lady to body slam, sit on and squash everybody else.

Is this a new trend.....who wins in a barfight, player A or B (example).
Advice beginners to go to the library or buy a book about guitars, or go
to the fender site for set-ups or info.
They'll answer that they have a too busy life to read ?
To busy.......why play the guitar if you got no time ?

Peter

Wow… Whatever happened to common decency...? Treating people like a friend instead of a rival?

I think people need to practice a bit more patience. You know you don’t have to read and comment on every post. This is not a race.

So there is my two cents…. Let the flaming begin.

Chris

I agree with you, but unfortunately, not everyone agrees with this mindset. What makes some people seem to reply to every topic is that they want to get the title under their name to say something other than Hobbyist or Roadie. That is why at times I hate forums that give you titles or rankings based on the number of posts you make because you tend to get some people who will reply to every thread just so they can move up on the number of posts they make....

Hello guys,

I'll agree the name of my post is not well chosen.
I'm a person who likes to treat people with respect but sometimes i've
been treated with little respect in return.
I'm also not on the forum to collect the most post in the shortest time.
've got a passion for the guitar and play for more then 35 years and if
i can help somebody with advice i'm glad to do so.
I'm also human make mistakes and can get anoyed by what I think is stupid. I'll take more care with future postings in how i formulate them.
Also i don't read every post, don't got the time for that.

Peter
