Creepy or wacky musician ad responses on CL

Okay. So I was enjoying the other thread and it got me thinking of something that happened to me and the band a few weeks ago. We recently parted ways with our previous drummer and have been posting ads for a replacement.

So to the CL ad we posted we got a response from a local hard rock drummer. He went on to say how he's got plenty of experience and loved to "ROCK OUT". Nothing wrong with that.

THEN he posts a couple links to videos for songs that he wrote. At this point I should have probably known better seeing as he's a drummer, but what the heck, right? SO I click on the first Youtube link which pulls up some really grainy video of what looks like teenage girls in short skirts and bikini tops going into a house party, and the riffy music starts kicking in. Mind you, I STILL didn't think anything of it, but I probably should have as the video of the girls looked to be taken from a row of bushes...

Then, all of a sudden, the camera drops down and starts swinging back and forth. I don't think much STILL. UNTIL the lyrics start. They were something to the effect of "hey, you make the blood rush to my head. No, not there (or something to that effect). It goes somewhere else. South of the border." At which point I realize that the swinging camera was him running away from the bushes and the following video under the lyrics was of him following some girls, scantily clad again, down a street at "waist" level, and when one went to turn around the camera quickly moved away.

Seriously...the type of dirty you can't wash off...

At that point I was frantically hitting stop...and I didn't get through the rest. When I get home from work I'll see if I can find the link and post it here. :lol:

Sooo...what about the rest of the gang here? Any crazy CL musician stories?

I'll make sure to dig through my email box and post it as soon as I get home. Like I said, I didn't even make it through the first verse I think before I had to click "stop". Sooooooo creepy, and I'm not an easy guy to creep out.

Oh no...It's worse. I watched a little more of it. Which made me realize what it's really about. I don't know what to say. I'm horrified, AND I now that I know more of the story I think I'm even more horrified. Enjoy...

Forget the video - that song is obscene and should only be played for someone as a punishment. I wouldn't want to admit I wrote it or even played on it. Good grief

EXACTLY. However, the two of them together put it in a whole other class of creepy. I still haven't been able to listen to, or watch all of it. :lol:

I made it 26 seconds into the video, but only because I had potatoe chips in my hand (the one I use for my touch pad) when the vocals kicked in and I didn't want to smear the fat onto my touchpad.

NOTE TO SELF: never click on a video again while having potatoe chips in your hand!!!

Hah! You joke, but we have a female singer and I told her I was half tempted to set him up with an audition just to see how uncomfortable and creepy it got. :lol:

Never considered that there was a need for a band to hire their own security guard to keep the drummer from getting the band arrested.. :shock:

If that drummer isn't on a law enforcement's watch list then it's only a matter of time....

Could not watch the whole video...Felt like I was entering the seedier section of a crack house.. :shock:

I don't know how I made it through most of it....it's terrible. I live Wrightsville Beach NC and I certainly hope the footage at the end of whatever that is was not taken in my backyard on this beach..I'm hoping that was the Pacific Ocean...Dude is not all there..I don't think he's seen the ball since the kickoff...
