Awesome! I love the look of that one.. rock on!

Although Peavey made some fabulous amps in the 70s such as the original Deuce,the Pacer wasn't one of them.Although the Pacer was a decent amp it didn't have the chime and ringing clarity that the Deuce and even the Mace were capable of.If I were you I would certainly consider an amp upgrade before I decided on any guitar,because no matter what,a guitar is only going to sound as good as the amp allows it to.Some great amps are being made now and are less than $300 and even $200.The new Fender Mustang amps and amps such as the Vox VT-20 are just incredibly good amps and some are even less than $200.They all have great amp models and have incredible on-board effects and can sound extremely clean or as raunchy as you can ever want.

Guitslinger, i respect your opinion, but I really love my pacer... but, I am considering a new smaller amp just to have something I can move around a little easier.... what's your take on the fender frontman 25r with the red tolex? for 99 bucks , i'm likin it.... i played with one for just a minute the other day and it sounded nice to me... but, you know,... i like my pacer, too. so,.... thoughts?
