I was looking for an acoustic so I can sit and play outdoors, and I found it.

I found a brand new Fender Sonoran Acoustic for about %60 percent off factory price because it was a factory defect, a superficial one. The pickguard came out discolored and deformed on it. I personally think it looks kinda cool. It has a soft C birds eye maple neck and a spruce top and mahogany sides and back.

Pics/review when it arrives (maybe a week max?)

Congrats there is definitely something about just sitting around outside or on a porch with an acoustic! Will look forward to seeing pictures

I'm more or less thinking of sitting on my roof with it.

I can't help it. I love sitting on my roof. Just climb on the natural gas tank and jump up and you're there. I have a perfect view of both the sunrise and sunset because of the way my house faces, the fact that it's on a hill, and the way the treeline is.

I haven't in over a year and don't plan on doing so again. Thanks for the suggestion, though lol.

I guess that could be a start :D

But, the reason I bought one is because I started messing around unplugged and liked the way I was sounding.

But I'm decently excited. This is the first brand new guitar I'll ever own.

well enjoy yorself, be careful. I started out an electric player, and after some influence from a cousin, bought an acoustic, and for 10 years after that I was exclusively an acoustic player. I eventually picked up electric again. Now I play about 80% electric, and 20% acoustic.

I couldn't play 100% acoustic. My playing style is supposed to be loud and obnoxious. The only way I can really achieve that is a cranked amp and squeely pickups.
