While going through some boxes I found the "Elite" badge off my '76 Ford Elite that I used to have ... My favorite car of all time. I miss her.. so I figured I'd put the badge where I'd see it often and still get some enjoyment out of it- right on the front of my beater partscaster... what do you guys think?

Right on. My first car was a 1977 Oldsmobile Omega. After my first accident and a front quater panel replacement, I pulled the old emblem off the wrecked panel and have hung it on the rearview mirror of every car I've owned since.

That's cool, yoda. The sad story of the Elite is that I was out of work for about 2 years and had to sell all my toys, including the elite, a '63 plymouth valiant, and my fender jaguar hh :( it was a bad time... things are a little better now, though.... i'm looking forward to the day i can get another Elite.

I took the emblem off my 1972 Monte Carlo, and have used it for a keychain for the last 22 years. Cool partscaster!
