I have a Mustang Floor and a Frontman 212R guitar amp. Can I get some help with settings of amp to duplicate the sound I am hearing from the head phones? I can't seem to get the setting right on the amp to do this.

I assume you are trying to duplicate what you are hearing from the Mustang floor using the Frontman 212R. Without hearing what you are hearing through the headphones, how do you expect anyone to know what sound you are trying to duplicate? In any case, the Frontman 212R is not a modeling amp so all you have to work with is a basic clean channel and a not very good distortion channel and the associated tone and volume controls. I'm not suprised that you can't duplicate the sound you are hearing.

I am wanting to duplicate what I'm hearing in the head phones. just didn't know if anyone new what levels to set the amp at for a close range. I know it's probably not the best amp but it's what I have.

Any suggestions on a good inexpensive amp that can do this?

What are you hearing in the headphones that you are trying to duplicate? Explain please. Your question makes no sense.

I want to hear a clear sound of each preset from the amp that I am hearing with the headphones.

Look, you need to explain what you are doing with both the Mustang Floor and the 212R. Are you connecting the two together? If so, how? The Mustang Floor output is at line level. If you connect it to the guitar input of the 212R, it will overload the 212R preamp. You must connect the Floor to the Power Amp input on the 212R. Doing so bypasses the preamp of the 212R and all control is done by the Mustang Floor. The power amp and speaker of the 212R then take the place of the headphone output of the Mustang Floor and all control is done from the Mustang Floor. Is that what you are trying to do?

I was plugging into the guitar input and not the power amp input. I'm a novice and didn't think of that. I will try it in the morning. Thanks!

Maybe you should try reading the owner's manual first the next time you try something new.
