Hi Flamekaster!

You are correct on the AC30. It was made for that type of amp or even the old Marshall amps which is where the original Rangemaster (which the JB is based on) was made famous. Most notably, Clapton used one while with John Mayall. Of course he was using humbuckers too, so that makes a bit of a difference. Sorry but I already sold the Java Boost. Analogman makes the Beano Boost which is comparable and significantly lower priced.

I dont really want one, but if i can get a cool pedal i dont pass up the chance, but thanks for letting em know

Well, well, well, after hours of working on my board during practice with a couple bands and at home I think I've found what I like and what I want. The Cusack screamer has such a beautiful fat tube sound, so clear and I guess perfect ( to me anyways) I took the blues driver and the heavy metal pedal off the board. I may send the blues driver in for mods but at this point both boss pedals sound very digital and the mids seem very muddy. I may have to buy another cusack screamer and just run two inline for a little extra kick for heavier stuff.

I have a budda wha, the Cusack screamer and I'm using my amps overdrive for a boost when needed. I play through a hotrod deluxe with an American strat, not sure how much I like the amps od, but it sounds pretty good run with the screamer and will have to work for now as I'm broke. This will work for our new cd( in the studio in two weeks) but I do want my board complete as soon as I have the cash.

At this point my Ideal board has changed a bit, it may be the budda, two screamers, blues driver(moded),keeley compressor, analog delay. I think this still keeps it simple but I can get alot of sounds out of this setup. What do you guys think?

that will make a nice set up, but when you get another screamer put one on either side of the wah and see what happens
