Take the gun, you already have 4 AXES, so you will need a weapon with a little more reach....    :D

Coming from a part of the world where guns are not available I would say get the Guitar. I guess we Western Europeans are a little far removed from the whole having to own a gun thing so it seems very bizarre to be talking about owning a Guitar or a gun in the same breath.

If people over here spoke like this, they would be under Police surveillance.

Since our province has one of the lowest rates of gun crimes in the world and handguns are banned anyway-unless you have a "restricted firearms" permit. You're only allowed to use handguns at one of the very few certified shooting ranges anyway.Even though a lot of my relatives and in-laws hunt,I hate guns and always have.Another Strat would be great for me as that would make it 6-so I'll have a new Antigua please.

Easy answer for me, Decades ago my Hubby tried to show me how to use his shotgun incase an emergency arose..after he patiently tried to explain you slide this..move this thing do this etc etc..20 minutes later he locked the shotgun back up and said quietly your going to die learn to live with it..HAHAHAHA! ..

One of our friends blew his leg off with a shotgun thinking someone was trying to break in his home. When I was in high school I belonged to the school's shooting team. A couple of years later I got to shoot whatever weapon I wanted, whenever I wanted in Viet Nam. That was enough guns for me. Of course buy another guitar, or better yet, save for retirement. It's looking like we might be on our own.

Get the Gun. Two of my favorite thing, Guitars and Guns. That way when your guitar doesn,t cooperate you can shoot it. :D

Get a decent weight Telecaster, if anyone breaks in it would probably be more effective than the gun anyway. Two birds with 14lbs. :D

Neither. Get a 1911. Or simply buy a late 70's P bass. You hit someone with one of those and they aren't getting up. Ever. :D

Poll: You own 4 Fender electric guitars, average value $700. Do you buy a 5th Fender guitar or your first Glock 23 and lots of ammo, in case several predictions about the coming economic collapse (fiat money pyramid scheme) are correct?

Hi The Word and the Breath (previously know as Violin Parent & Skirt so Plain)

It's nice to still be able to read a few posts based on reality rather than fear induced paranioa. Thank you for that, and for your service.
