AL...that is one fine looking pedal board and box. You got some serious skills there! I see you didn't use any MDF

Silly T2....MDF is for speaker cabs

The cool part is it was all made from scrap material laying around work or home, and since I made it on my slower nights at work, I actually got paid to make it! Cost of pedals another story, guess I broke even!

If you folks are anything like me you prolly have more pedals that you aren't using than ones that you are using. I'm guessing some of you have a lot more. I went through my pedal collection and thinned the herd about a year ago. This is what I have left. You'll note there are only 2 BOSS pedals left in my collection (see the pedal board pic for the other one) and only 1 Keeley pedal. At one time I had at least 6 Keeley pedals, several of them were BOSS. I kept the ones I felt were useful. Others, like the Rotosphere and the Airplane-Flanger, I kept only because I could not find a buyer.

I see the good in the SD-1 as well, BMV. :D I couldn't be happier with how well it pushes the front end of my AC-15 into saturation.

I recieved my BlueSky a couple of days ago - very happy with this one!

With those two pedals alone I am pretty much set. I also went with a Carbon Copy.

Great set ups guys, I've got to get my act into gear and do this, is there such a thing as buying a pedal board ready to roll.... And can you then patch all pedals to one wall socket for AC? I know I should search the net before asking but I'm asking you all instead....

I like the SD-1 because it is more transparent than most ODs. Most people are fond of the TS-9 or TS-808 but I find those pedals to be quite muddy sounding for my tastes.

The BlueSky can do some amazing things. It has a very wide range of reverb. You can get it to do some semi-bizarre things if you tweak it right.

My new pedal board, everything on it has been assembled in the last month. The volume pedal is an Ernie Ball.

Here is my board.

Image

A couple things to explain is that I use clean Fender/Fender voiced amps and use pedals for all the "dirt". Also, I tailor each dirtbox to a couple of songs in the set to get the tone from the recording as I'm a party band cover guy.

I use Phaser on a handful of tunes, Compressor on probably more than half, Delay usually always (slapback), and then the dirts. The fuzz pedal (Analog Man) is the only dirt that is "optional". It may or may not come into play - depending on the songs or if I want "that sound".

Also, here is my "reserve". I change things and get/try new things constantly. As you can see, I'm a dirtbox freak and am all about the best OD/Dist/Fuzz/Boost pedals into my clean Fenders.

I almost bought one of these on CL, but decided to build my own. They come powered, or not, and seem pretty versatile.

Pretty sure SKB has a powered board too.

Added a Flanger today and I honestly like it even though I am NOT a pedal guy.

I am REALLY envious of most of your guys pedalboards on here. Well here is my homemade pedalboard I use. Tried to keep it as small as possible as I don't like carrying too much gear.
