I have actually had a thread of mine locked down on another forum belittling stomp boxes. I have several boxes and when it comes down to, it's just an excuse for me to spend money and add Bling. When it comes down to it after a long day, I think I have my gear set up well enough that natural straight in is the best for me.

Sorta. I have a BigShot on the way so I can channel jump my amp utilizing both channels at the same time and will see where that goes. I'll be a happy camper if next week all my boxes will be posted on CL.

Thanks. It's actually the second one I've built since January. In the winter I built one that looked similar but was considerably larger and was built too skookum. It housed about 5 more pedals and was built with ⅝" ply and drywall screws. I had a thread about the build on here somewhere last winter. I gigged with it a couple times and discovered it was too heavy (about 42 lbs.), too large on the floor and had a poor combination of pedals. I dismantled it in the spring and made this one. Fewer pedals, smaller wood (⅜" ply w/glue & brads) and a less ecclectic set of pedals. This one weighs only 22 lbs. and has a much smaller footprint.

I don't have a board, but here is the collection.

The wah pedal is a Dunlop Cry Baby 535Q, and the little gray pedal is a Line 6 Uber Metal distortion pedal.

here's my board, no pedals on it currently...i sold most of mine a few weeks ago.
i welded it up myself , it's all aluminum.... at my job we build tool boxes for big trucks, so all the hardware is random stuff from work - the idea here is that i'd put all my pedals inside while travelling, carry it like a briefcase, and then pull everything i need out, mount it, and plug it in. i don't have a pic from the back, but in the back there's a hollow for my power supply. it's about 24" long and 14" deep.
actually about to put the thing on craigslist... if anyone's interested, shoot me an email :) Image

it looked better when i still had my q-tron, my 2 big muffs (russian and NYC), and my DS-1 on it.
all i have now is the ds-1, it's the only one i really need.

Here's my pedals which are currently being used in conjunction with a Line 6 Shortboard. More pedals will be added in the coming months to phase out the shortboard.

Just builtthis pedalboard and case this week. I still haven't hooked up the power yet, or patched all the cables to the pedals, but you get the idea.

AL...that is one fine looking pedal board and box. You got some serious skills there! I see you didn't use any MDF

I will admit... I am drooling over BMW-KTM's pedalboard. I want to build one just like that. 8)

Mine is very very simple, and still not quite finished:

Update since the photo was taken
  • Board has large rubber feet on the back end, raising it 1/2" off the floor.
  • Board has small rubber feet on the front end, raising it 1/4" off the floor.
  • Board has nice varnished, 1/2" crown molding, mitered 45°, all along the edges (looks like a picture frame when no pedals are on it).
  • Holes have been drilled for the daisy-chain 9v power cord adapters.
Image

As you can see, I might need a few more pedals. But then again, I don't normally use them that much. I play clean or with a touch of overdrive. I am considering building the BYOC Tremolo kit and adding that to the board, when I have some free time to get out the soldering iron and get it done.
