Hi all...

I just spent a few hours goofing around with some of the echo settings on the M5... pretty fun. I have to say, I think Line6 makes some pretty quality digital effects... I don't know how they stack up to the original versions... I always struggle with the MuTron effect, they just never sound right to my ear, but the echos and delays are fantastic. All in all, it seems like a sweet unit though there's tons of stuff on it I'll never use.

The video was made using the Binson EchoRec model (backing track) and the Roland Space Echo model (lead). I was using a Keeley Mod MT-2 Metal Zone for the distortion and looped it all using a Boss RC-30 Loop Station.

Cool vid and a nice little loop you have there!

I'm a big fan of Line 6 products, been using a POD since they first came out. I lov'in my brand new DL4 which was a Birthday gift from Mrs BigHair & my family (Lucky for me I have a big family, at £200 new they ain't cheap!) Pic's at some point when I get time.

I can't really comment on how the modelled sounds compare to the real thing, but to my ears most of them sound pretty sweet!
