Anyone into Jazz/Rock/Funk/Fusion stuff, like The Bombastic Meatbats, Jazz Pistols , stuff like that, or is just all CRAP to your creative ears. Tell me.

I have never head of either of the bands you mentioned. I checked out The Bombastic Meatbats. Chad Smith...nice. The sound is groovy but I don't think I could listen to this all the time. I like my funk to be a litte more dirty. Never got too much into straight up jazz either. Here is the cut I checked out.

I guess alot of people dont like it, becasue its not so called Main Stream music. Its hard to play for alot of musicians, who alot of them play the 3 chord stuff, and its to complicated for the everyday musician. To many changes, wierd scales, etc.

I dig it and have since the early Frank Zappa and
Jaco were doing it.
