In 2006 FMIC commemorated the founding of Leo Fender's first company in 1946 by affixing a small medallion to all of their regular-production guitars and amps. The instruments and amps were otherwise unchanged. The "Deluxe" Strats came in several iterations back then to include the Deluxe Fat Strat, the Deluxe Powerhouse Strat, and the Deluxe Players Strat. Prices for these guitars on the secondary market can vary between $400 and $550 depending upon the specific model, the finish color, and the condition.

There was also a special run 60th anniversary Strat and Tele that had a Diamond anniversary backplate and a faux diamond on thre headstock where the custom body sticker usually is. They came with a special fugly tricked out case too...the guitars themselves are great (I own one) that were loaded with 57/62 PU's and a no load tone control.
