Either you got a an isolated issue where a substandard handle got used or they need to reassess the load bearing properties of the handles used for this amp.



+1...My BFSR weighs in at 86lbs and that old handle still holds up well...of course back then they had a metal insert inside the amp handles...sounds like this is something they should not have gotten away from.

Sorry to hear it jebus, but I'm glad you weren't hurt even worse from that fall. Hopefully it was a single defective unit and not a warning sign on the overall brand quality.
