very nice  I particularly liked the comment from one of the viewers "Also, why the hell does the lead singer need to make himself look like he was drunk with a nail gun one night and pierced everything on his face for fun?"
Ouch...

I have auto-tune, Auto-tune is cool if you are using it as an effect and you can really notice it, but not cool if you are trying to use it to fix mistakes and trying to hide the fact that you have done so. I have also notice how todays pop singers have that chorus blip effect on their vocals, clearly they are relying on auto-tune way to much in live performances, such that I feel it detracts from their credibility. I have heard it really clear on Taylor Swift's live shows.

Auto Tune -- Uggg! it's lame when used to fix the lead vocal track. if you can't sing, then please, let someone do it who can!

However!,, that said.. where it DOES help is cleaning up some harmony tracks if you have one harmony that isn't quite working out. It sure beats wasting 15 hours trying to get a perfect track if one person is just a tad off and can't seem to "fix it" naturally.

Interesting to hear it said here that auto tune is ok as an effect when you intend it to be heard, but not to correct mistakes that you don’t want to be noticed. That’s kinda completely the opposite of how its supposed to be used….But I find myself completely agreeing! Ive used it a few times in my band to correct harmony parts that aren’t quite spot on, just nudge all of them into pitch, however as others have been said they are now the parts that jump out to me and I hate hearing. Id only recommend it for that god awful `do you believe in love after love` sorta cher thing. Ah, what a song. Makes me think of madness in the young ones “you hum it, i`ll smash your face in”. Ok that might be lost on anyone who isn’t a Brit.

Bottom line is once you’ve used autotune and are familiar with it, you cant get away from it. Its everywhere and its easy to hear, the only people who cant hear it are the people who have never had experience with it. Which luckily for these glossy pop producers, is most of the population!
