9's... Took a shot with the 8's, don't like the sound. 10's were on my Gibson and Charvel, but I'll switch them also to 9's.
9's forever!

10's pure Nickle strings for me. Considering 11's now. I use 12's on my acoustics.

Ironic. 11's called slinky. They take a bit of testosterone to manipulate. 8's and 9's, to me, are slinky. 10's seem regular to me, and anything higher takes two men and a boy to bend. That said, if you play jazz and don't bend much, that's different.

currently got .13's on my strat. i really like the extra beef in the sound, but its due a restring and i'll probably go smaller. my teles all have .11's which i tend to use as standard. cant stick anything less than .10's at all.

I swear by D'Addarios: 8-38s on all my electrics and 10-46 with a wound 3rd on my acoustics.Before a gig I'd always sit and play an acoustic for as long as I could,then when I played my electric with the 8s I could bend notes almost 3 tones.
