Alright, so we were all getting a feel for eachother's playing styles and what we can do. I didn't expect anything amazing, and the vibrations were so strong it knocked the camera down. I need to get better recording gear. Anyways, I had a great time doing this.

I just need better recording equipment. Timing was good, not exact, but good. Sound was good. But the mic was horrid.

3:57, James, today wasn't a good day to watch that video, I just got home from what I thought would be a jam, at least that's what my Bro said this morning. What it turned out to be, 5 musicians, the 2 that could play (guitarists) were banging on drums while the other 3 made awful noise on keyboards and guitars. In a recording studio with excellent gear. I walked out, I didn't do that even when I was a child. Everyone just banging on instruments the ruse "they're learning to play, you know, jam" is a bunch of baloney! How about "practice at home and bring your best chops to the jam". I'm sorry James, what I saw of your video was cool, jam out with your Bros, it's all good, I didn't have a good day is all.

SK, they have a good PA system already. What if I ran it through that and directly in to a PC?

I'm sorry SBLS. Was this in a rented studio? If so, they're probably going to wonder what happened to their money later.

Another thing about this was the acoustics of the room. I've got high ceilings and that was in the biggest room of the house. If I did this outside (as intended) it would probably have sounded clearer from the lack of echo. But when it's 90 degrees out, you'll take the AC over anything.

I'm glad we didn't rent, though. This place wanted to charge $90/hr and it wasn't even a recording studio. It was a rec center.
