I have an 04 Mexi Strat, and I could have sworn that they made Fat Strats in that year. Of course, I could be wrong ...

Brad will not likely get back to you on this. He typically only replies to forum-related stuff. Right now is he is likely writing testcases for some Microsoft upgrade that the Fender IT group needs to deploy.

Is the bridge 'bucker original or aftermarket?

I know that they made MIM Fat Strats in '05.
