Ok so i recently ordered a neck for my strat because i wanted a V neck. After I installed the neck i wasn't sure what to do with the other. I want to keep it for a spare but I dont want it warping. I thought about putting it on another guitar but I like my other guitars necks just fine. if i Can get some help it would be awfully nice. Thanks carsonb10

Just keep it in the proper enviornment and it should be fine. I also am a big fan of a V neck. I just put one on my esquire and I love it. I have 3 guitars with V's

if it is a quality neck in should not warp inside your home, so just keep it in the closet.

It shouldn't warp any more than it would if it was attached to a body. You'd probably be wise to check the amount of relief in it now and again, and adjust the truss rod if necessary.
