I found this a really good tool for listening to the differences in between Amp speakers so i thought i'd share.....I have pretty serious digital sound hooked up to my computer and these are top quality samples you can hear the speakers individual tones crystal clear.......All exactly the same recording..... :|

Ps once you've loaded up a track from a speaker you can start flicking from speaker to speaker with no wait time....

What sounds best to you guys?....The Gold, The Blue, The Tone Tubby, The REX? The VC?.....

Very cool! Thanks for posting this, I've bookmarked it. It was obvious differences even on my laptop. Have to listen again on other speakers before I decide what to prefer :)

I must have some hearing lost. Everyone of those Celestions sounded exactly the same to me.

The equalization of the whole track on the Tone Tubby was altered.

The alnico speakers from Jensen and Weber were my favorites.

I wonder how that did the recordings?

Excellent post.

Do they mention anything about what cabinets were used?

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.
