What are some urban legends you have heard about Fenders? I have read that some Mexican Fenders used the same parts as American Fenders but were assembled in Mexico.

I've heard that before. I have a 2007 MIM FSR Precision that has an unbelievable neck. It's perfect, frets are great, not at all like any other MIM bass I've played, or owned. i'm sure there will be more posts.

Even the watermark is different. It's the same as MIA basses.

You really should adjust your strap, oxfan. As soon as you stand up that bass is gonna fall right outa yer hands. On the plus side you're prolly the first bassist I ever heard of who learned to play way up the neck first instead of the other way around. You'll be really versatile once you grow a bit and you're able to reach the whole fretboard.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.
