My local public library has a display case to showcase items that try and inspire humans to do other things than play on facebook. The following are some shots of some of my books and CD's and my 2007 Olympic White MIA.

Very Nice!

I have the Robert Johnson CDs as well as lots of Ronnie Earl.

They have a similar thing at my Library where a display case is updated regularly with different items. Never seen one for music...gives me a thought.

TY,

Yes, IMO Ronnie is as good as they come and does not get enough credit or exposure.

It did not show up very well but BB Kings autobiography Blues All Around Me is in the case but the glare of the flash kind of blotted it out. I make take some more and perhaps better shots soon. The case will be up until September.

Real nice display.

I love my library, I'll have to look for a few of those books there.

I regularly try out cd's, the odd blu ray, magazines and books.

When I retire in a few years I'll never have a reason to be bored.

He isn't as well known as he should be. Incredible player.
I go to see him play whenever I can. Last year 4 times including a December show that went 3 hrs and 10 min. They had to tell him to stop as it was past curfew....

He plays a lot up here in New England, especially Massachusetts.

A beautiful and informative display...kudos!
I too love my local library and I often see teenagers there reading books and doing their homework during the school year (the library is 2 blocks from a high school). A display like this would be a big hit for them. I'll have to talk to my librarians 8)
To inbalance99...I have just retired and the library is a great resource. I don't know about Oakville customs (I should as I have a brother who lives there), but here I can order any book that the library has in its holdings and have it delivered to my local branch for pickup.
It really doesn't get much better than that 8)
Best,
Alex
