I'm with bluesky, this is in extremely bad taste.

corpse, I hate to say it, but metal doesn't need to get heavier than when it uses a triple bass pedal. (Yes, that exists.)

Given the horrible murder of 12 people and wounding of 58 others in Aurora Colorado this past weekend, posting lyrics such as these in a public forum is in extemely poor taste and shows a distinct lack of thought and sensitivity considering what has happened. Corpseknot should be ashamed of himself. And people wonder why there is so much nastiness in the world today.

you can blame a type of music for that and neither of the song are about that and i dont see how posting it would show my lack of sensitivity toward the subject

You have a lot of growing up to do.

There is a place for this kind of stuff. I consider this one a classic. :P

Bonded by Blood
Black magic rites on this black evil night
Begin with the slice of the blade
Metal and blood come together as one
Onlookers they gasp in dismay
Taste the sweet blood of one another
Sharing without any greed
Bang you head as if up from the dead
Intense metal is all that you need

Murder in the front row
Crowd begins to bang
And there's blood upon the stage
Bang you head against the stage
And metal takes it's price
Bonded by blood

Metal takes hold death starts to unfold
It's loud like the worlds at an end
Your in a blood fury the metal won't stop
Onlookers they bang at command
Cutting your palm and drinking your blood
The power that few others dare
You feed the need to go out and kill
The same need that your blood brother shares

Murder in the front row crowd begins to bang
And there's blood upon the stage
Bang your head against the stage
And metal takes it's price
Bonded by blood

And you are just as bad as Corpseknot. If anything, this post is even worse than his considering the events of this past weekend.

Neither post has anything to do with the horrific events of this past weekend. You made a connection that is not there. I did not mean to offend anyone by posting lyrics to an ancient thrash metal song.

How long would be appropriate to you? Or should this type of material never be posted? To me this type of music/lyrics are on par with a horror movie or such.

Honestly, people need to lighten up. People get shot every day, yet don't get news coverage, and it's still ok to make jokes about guns, shooting, Dick Cheney, etc. This will blow over once the next big thing will take over the small attention span of America. It's just humankind, and I'm alright with it.

Pull out their guts
Not driven to kill
Gouge at their eyes
This is his will
Castration of men
Upon the rocks
Raping the whores
With severed cocks

Klowenst/corpseknot,

Do neither of you think that there might members of this forum from Colorado or even Aurora who would be offended by your postings? Haven't they been through enough that they don't need to see these lyrics posted on a public forum? I don't really care what kind of music you like to listen to, but show some common sense for crying out loud.

Are you drunk? I posted lyrics about banging your head at a metal concert for crying out loud. Also the thread title says "not for the faint of heart". You can try to shame people, but it is not effective when you are so illogical. :(
