A movie about Jack White, Jimmy Page, and the Edge has to have a good soundtrack!

There is a thread on this subject from a few years ago, I'll look tomorrow. For now some good ones are:
The Mortal Combat movies
The Matrix series
The Crow
Escape from L.A.
Streets of Fire
The Warriors

Best original soundtrack of recent years: gotta be The Incredibles, written by Micheal Giacchino. Never heard of him before but he did a great, great job of nailing that swanky, retro big band vibe. Love it!

Besides the soundtracks to all The Beatles movies,I have to say Forrest Gump except for the songs by The 5th Dimension(I never did like them) and Easy Rider had a great soundtrack too.An obscure movie about the life of St. Francis of Assisi called Brother Sun Sister Moon had an incredible soundtrack written and sung by Donovan Leitch.

I enjoyed the soundtrack to the movie Smart People. I thought Nuno Bettencourt came up with some brilliantly eclectic acoustic numbers that were in perfect harmony with the theme and the college culture of the movie. And pretty darned nice to listen to as well.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.
