Just discovered this last night while noodling in Garage Band on my iPad. When you select "guitar" it shows a fretboard. When you touch a string it plays the proper note. But when you pull this string, it actually bends the note! I was impressed!

Or is it just me?

I mean, I'm not about to chuck my Strat just yet, but fun! It does slides and hammer ons and pull offs. It's a little weird not having frets, but kewl just the same.

Been doing that for years! No- for about one year ,I think. Yes great fun. Could be funny if a band was playing live with just iPads Guitar , bass, keys, drums

I just got an irig for my garage band. Haven't really had much of a chance to mess with it a whole lot lately, but it'll be interesting for looping and practicing, and songwriting ideas.

iRig works pretty good. The only problem I have with Amplitube is having to buy the same app twice so it works on both iPhone and iPad. Bad business and tech decision.

Just buy GB and use iRig hardware
