I want to own about 50 to 100 guitars and amps, and I want a nice big house with a special room in which to keep them, along with recording equipment, etc.

But I'm tired of working, and I want 5 to 8 hours a day of time to play with my guitars. I don't really want to work. I just want to have the money to buy the gear.

Does anyone have any advice for me? Thanks.

Start with appreciating the things you have....you don't NEED that many guitars and amps to start with...get good with what you got, get out there and play, play, play and I'll bet the things you WANT will naturally fall into place.

I've a feeling the original post wasn't actually serious.. but if it was, I am afraid that each of the possible quick fixes are neither legal nor recommended. 8)

I am in the presence of more guitars than I can keep up with.

A long, long time ago I projected my future as a guitar player with the earnest intention of helping to improve humanity through music. After a gahzillion heart wrenching failures, one obstacle after the next, I persisted and what I envisioned is finally manifesting.

Via a sickening twist of fate, I landed up in the place I tried to get furthest away from, but...this is the place were my vision is manifesting -- and there was nothing I could do to stop it.

At one point, before here, ...I thought about giving up. But then I realized I'd be utterly miserable if I did not persist until the absolute end.

"Pray devoutly -- hammer stoutly" and our creator(s) will share with you the tools you need to improve humanity!

"For the Lord watches over the way of the righteous,
but the way of the wicked *will* perish."

Either the guitars will just fall in your lap, or you'll have to earn them the old-fashioned way...or some combination in-between.

I'm still not sure if this is simple destiny, the power of positive thinking, or random happenstance (luck); but one thing's for sure, persistence seems to be the key to making things happening -- just keep pluggin' away!
